The days of film are long gone, but the old film formula of a low shoot fee to get you to commit,
followed by high print pricing and the hard sell afterwards still persists.
But I just don’t feel comfortable doing that!

Weddings have embraced a new way of working with the disk of images now common place,
portraiture however has not. But times have changed which means we as photographers need to adapt.

Photography is much more accessible now, it’s not the dark art is used to be, and yet,
taking a good photo is still as hard as ever, meaning we as professionals are still very much in demand.
Here’s how I do portrait shoots.

You get ALL the photos on a CD with printing and copying rights,
plus an optional DVD slideshow set to music!

However, unlike Egon Spengler in ‘Ghostbusters’, I don’t buy into the idea that "Print is dead".
Digital is great, it’s the wave of the future, but nothing quite beats a fresh print in your hand!
So Prints are still available at a small extra cost.
