I've been fortunate enough to work for some of the most wonderful people I've ever met, and be a part of their big day, 
and nothing gives me the warm fuzzy feeling inside more then when someone takes the time to let me know how much
they liked my work.

We can't recommend Andrew Dobell highly enough. When we searched for a wedding photographer, we looked at ones close to our wedding venue, and thought it might be a tricky process given that we live 150 miles from where we got married! We were impressed with the quality of images on his website, the beautiful colours and his eye for detail, as well as his ability to capture the mood and essence of the occasion. When we met with Andrew in person, we looked at more of his work, and it was far better than any other photographer we looked at - some photographers manage to capture nothing more than any non-professional could have done, but Andrew somehow manages to capture the spirit and beauty of people and the occasion. So we chose Andrew on both price and quality, not to mention the professional yet relaxed service he offers.

We have just seen the results of Andrew's work, and we are so impressed! He's managed to surpass our already high expectations of his work! We had some rain on the day, and we were a little bit worried that it could spoil the photos, but Andrew seems to have taken the bad weather and used it to his advantage! The colours and use of light are glorious, and he's captured everything, and everyone, to perfection. Every shot is so beautiful. (And he's the first photographer, ever, to capture my blue eyes!) Andrew and his assistant were a hit with our guests, they blended in well and were not in the slightest bit obtrusive. 
Overall, we are extremely impressed with Andrew's skills and service, and we would have no hesitation in recommending him for other weddings and special occasions.
(I only wish he could have taken our honeymoon pics, and I'm hoping to use him for future Christenings!)

Andrew and an assistant photographed our wedding in April.  The service before, during and after the wedding was second to none.  Andrew made me feel very relaxed in the run-up to the wedding, he was very confident and really interested in how I was expecting the photos to turn out.  All the options were discussed and he was extremely accommodating.  The day went like a dream, I hardly remember him being there and I don't think I saw his poor assistant at all!  But the photos tell a different story - he was everywhere.  There are the formal, the casual and the arty and I only wish I could have had him for longer!  And it was awesome to come home the very next day and see a selection already on the website.  Thank you so much, I will be happily dropping your name into all my 'photo conversations'!

Andrew was a great addition to our wedding in June. We wanted our wedding to be quite relaxed and informal so it was important our photographer matched that.  
Everything felt very easy and a natural part of the day. We had the photos on a CD/DVD and they were ready really quickly afterwards.  
Overall I would happily recommend Andrew to anyone as he is very genuine and you feel he is doing the photography out of a love for it rather than just as a job, and that shows in the final photos you get back and his artistic approach.

We got the discs yesterday, they are brilliant. The slideshow is brilliant and it had me, my dad and Scott's mum in tears - the music was a great touch and it all seemed to fit so well together.

We hired Andrew as our wedding photographer as a result of a family recommendation - even though we live in Sheffield and Andrew lives in Surrey - and it was probably one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.
Before the wedding Andrew was in regular contact to ensure the planning of the day went smoothly and on the day Andrew was fantastic at both organising people for the formal shots but also being "a fly on the wall" for the natural shots.
When we received our disc of photos and then the album we were absolutely over the moon with them. Andrew really captured our special day through many many photos which really do tell the story of the entire day. We not only have a disc of over 400 photos to look at, but also an album which is fabulous and something we are very proud of.
We cannot recommend Andrew highly enough as a wedding photographer and the one piece of advice we would give couples planning their own wedding - is to invest in a good photographer!
